ABOUT

Founded by harpist Güneş Hızlılar and guitarist Tuna Tandoruk during their studies at the  Mozarteum University of Salzburg, Duo Stringscapes is an original musical project that unites the rarely intertwined timbres of the harp and the guitar.

Having had the opportunity to work with Simone Fontanelli, Prof. Laura Young, and Prof. Stephen Fitzpatrick at Mozarteum University, the duo has performed at the 17th Turkey Guitar Meeting at the Bilkent Concert Hall and at the Salzburg Stadt Galerie with the support of the EU Communication Strategy, receiving high acclaim from audiences.

With a repertoire consisting of original works and their own arrangements, Duo Stringscapes highlights the rich expressive potential of both instruments, inviting listeners on a musical journey across different eras and cultures. By blending the unique voices of the harp and the guitar, the duo seeks to explore new forms of musical expression and bring a fresh perspective to classical music.

HAKKINDA

Arpist Güneş Hızlılar ve gitarist Tuna Tandoruk tarafından Salzburg Mozarteum Üniversitesi’ndeki eğitimleri sırasında temelleri atılan Duo Stringscapes, arp ve gitarın nadiren buluşan tınılarını bir araya getiren özgün bir müzikal projedir.

Mozarteum Üniversitesi’nde Simone Fontanelli, Prof. Laura Young ve Prof. Stephen Fitzpatrick ile çalışma fırsatı bulan ikili, 17. Türkiye Gitar Buluşması kapsamında Bilkent Konser Salonu’nda ve Avrupa Birliği İletişim Stratejisi desteğiyle Salzburg Stadt Galerie’de gerçekleştirdikleri konserlerle dinleyicilerden büyük beğeni toplamıştır.

Duo Stringscapes, hem arpın hem de gitarın zengin ifade olanaklarını öne çıkaran orijinal eserler ve kendi uyarlamalarından oluşan repertuvarıyla, dinleyicileri farklı dönemler ve coğrafyalar arasında bir müzikal yolculuğa davet eder. İkili, bu iki enstrümanın ifade gücünü birleştirerek yeni anlatım biçimlerini keşfetmeyi ve klasik müziğe taze bir bakış açısı kazandırmayı amaçlamaktadır.
